Hire Information & Operational Details
Rates
Hire rates depend on the trailer, hire period and location. Please call 0800 577 722 or email sales@jsr.co.nz for a quote. Short-term, weekend, weekly and longer-term hires can be arranged.
Collection & Delivery
- Trailers can be collected from our Frankton, Hamilton premises by customers with a suitable tow vehicle and tow bar.
- Delivery, set-up and pick-up can be arranged on request — ask us for a price for your site.
Power Supply
- Each trailer needs a suitable power supply for its refrigeration unit. Power requirements will be confirmed at booking.
- Please make sure power is available at your site before the trailer arrives. Avoid long or undersized extension leads.
Getting the Best Performance
- Position the trailer on level ground, in the shade where possible, and keep the refrigeration unit clear of obstructions.
- Load product that is already cold — the trailer is designed to keep items chilled, not to rapidly cool warm stock.
- Keep the door closed as much as possible and do not block the air flow from the evaporator.
- Do not tamper with or adjust the refrigeration controls. If you have any concerns, call us straight away.
Returning the Trailer
- Return the trailer empty, clean and free of food waste at the agreed time.
- Report any damage or faults at return so the unit is ready for the next customer.
