JSR was approved as an essential service, so are able to provide emergency services for maintenance and repair during the current Level 4 restrictions. As of Tuesday we are back up and running onsite, and will be adhering to all Level 3 guidelines on safe social distancing both on our premises at while onsite with our clients.

What to do if you have a problem now…

Our tradespeople are currently able to undertake maintenance and repair of heat pumps and air conditioning units in residential properties and essential businesses. This is because heating and refrigeration are necessary to maintain the necessities of life or are critical to safety!

If you have an issue that needs addressing, then please contact us via phone (0800 577 722) as our offices and workshops remain closed during this time. Our technicians are working remotely with all the necessary tools and supplies on hand.

Keeping Everyone Safe

While repairs and maintenance are essential, we want to make sure we are keeping everyone safe. That includes you and your family as well as our technicians.

That is why our entire team is currently working remotely so that we don’t have unnecessary contact in the office or workshops. Each technician is assigned to a job and has the necessary equipment on hand to come straight to your residence or premises.

Our entire team are following the health guidelines set out by the authorities for both Level 4 and when we move to Level 3. That includes physical distancing, hand and tool washing, as well as wearing protective equipment. This ensures the health and safety of themselves as well as those around them during these unsettling times.

Helping Out The Community

Even though times are uncertain right now, the goodness of humanity still shines through. You may have heard the saying “look for the helpers”. When a crisis or disaster takes place, it can be hard to process it. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and upset.

But, despite the chaos, in every crisis, there will be helpers. If you look for them, you will see the shining light in the situation. Throughout the pain and suffering, people will be kind and giving. The Serve Trust are those helpers in many situations. And recently, here at JSR, we gave them a lifeline so that they can continue to help in these troubling times.

The Serve Trust distribute meals and resources throughout the Waikato community to those that need them the most. Because of the current situation, they had to temporarily close their walk-in premises due to the need for social distancing.

They are now delivering meals to the door to door instead. We knew we wanted to do our part to help such a worthy cause, so donated the use of a mobile chiller free of charge to help The Serve complete their valuable work.

As of mid-April, The Serve had delivered close to 5000 meals. They deliver to 240 homes a night and have delivered more than 900 meals to those living on the streets. Without their generosity, many families would be struggling in these restrictive times.
